On the outside, the iMac 27-inch (Thunderbolt) looks just like its aluminum and glass predecessors. It has the same huge 27-inch 2,560-by-1,440 resolution display, which is formatted with a 16:9 aspect ratio and is higher resolution than the 1,920 by 1,080 required for true 1080p HD. The display is so bright that Apple added a new ambient light sensor to auto-dim the screen, so users in brightly lit studios can keep their eyes from straining when a cloud obscures the sun or if someone draws the drapes over the window. The glass panel protecting the LED-backlit LCD display is glossy, one of the few nits against the iMac 27-inch (Thunderbolt). I'd like to see a matte finish option for graphics professionals who want it. Speaking of graphics professionals, Apple color calibrates each display before shipping it to the final user. Color calibration won't necessarily be a big consideration for the average consumer, but it's a boon to the graphics artist who makes her living with the iMac.

Zalman showcased another upcoming full tower PC the Zalman GS1200, GS1000 as a successor. Come in all-black design, with one USB 3.0, three USB 2.0, one eSATA and two audio connectors, top-mounted HDD station docking, four 5.25-inch drive bay and has five fans (2x front, 1x left side, 1x rear & above 1x).

Zalman GS1200 desktop PC weighs 12.4kg and measures 260mm x 570mm x 640mm. The casing is made of steel, the side panels are made of anodized aluminum and the front, top, and bottom is a plastic (ABS). Lenovo has revealed that its new 21.46 x 16.31 x 3.18-inch (545.2 x 414.3 x 81 mm) ThinkCentre Edge 91z all-in-one desktop computer will have a 21.5-inch, 1080p high definition LED Infinity display with optional touchscreen panel and front-facing controls, a 2 megapixel web camera with built-in microphone, and a wall-friendly VESA mount. It will come pre-loaded with Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7, that's claimed to boot 30 percent faster than non-optimized models, and can be loaded up and ready for action in just 20 seconds if an optional 80GB solid state drive is chosen. Otherwise, there's up to 1TB of 7200RPM HDD storage available.

The computer comes in low power Core i3 (up to 3.3GHz), Core i5 (up to 2.7GHz) and Core i7 (2.8GHz) processor options on an Intel B65 chipset, with support from up to 8GB of DDR3 system memory. The FX6850-51u's design echoes previous iterations of the FX gaming desktop line, like the Gateway FX840-15e ($1,099.99 list, 3 stars). It's not as bold as Alienware's offerings, but its black glossy finish is accented by two glowing red grills on either side adding a bit of gaming flare. On the top of the system is a protruding lip that has a selection of easily accesable I/O ports, like a card reader (SD/MMC, xD, Micro SD, CF, and MS/PRO), two USB 2.0, and audio jacks. There's also a "Photo Frame Button" that will present images in a slideshow format from any inserted card—if there isn't any card in one of the slots, it will pull the images you store in the huge 1TB 7,200rpm hard drive. At this size, any multimedia downloader should be satisfied, but there's room to expand just in case. Two hard drive bays in front of the PC are already wired and ready for hook up. There's also an open optical drive bay (also wired) where you could put a Blu-ray player, as the FX6850-51u only comes with a Super-multi DVD drive.

Intel is preparing several new types of processors to fill entry-level and mainstream. Eight new processor type has been prepared by Intel for Pentium variants, i3 and i5.

To its line of Pentium, Intel Pentium prepare G530T-speed 2GHz with price of U.S. $ 47 and G630T Pentium 2.3 GHz with a price of U.S. $ 70. behind the letter T indicates the processor is intended for computers with small size. In addition to these two processors, there is one more that goes into the processor variant T, the i3 2120T-speed 2.6 GHz.

For the standard variant of the processor, Intel Pentium prepare G630, G680 Pentium, i3 2125, 2130 I3, and I5 2320. Pentium and Pentium G680 G630 has a speed of 2.7 GHz and 3GHz, each valued U.S. $ 64 and $ 86.

The p7-1010 is configured with an AMD Athlon II X4 645 processor, a budget-class quad-core chip that runs at 3.10GHz. It also has 6GB of DDR3 RAM and uses an AMD Radeon HD 4200 to handle the graphics workload. Performance was typical of a low-cost processor; the p7-1010's PCMark 7 score of 1811 trailed the similarly priced HP p7-1074, which uses a slightly more powerful AMD Phenom CPU, by almost 10 points.

For Speaking of work, the 610-1150y is likely to feel fast for quite a long time. This configuration has a newer Intel Core i5-2300 processor in it with the Sandy Bridge architecture. This means that the system is able to keep up with an older processor with a higher model number. The 610-1150y completed the Handbrake video test in 1 minute 29 seconds, and the Photoshop CS5 test in 3:56. These are comparable times to the HP 610-1065qd (1:28 on Handbrake, 3:38 on CS5). Both desktops' Handbrake scores are almost identical, though the HP 610-1065qd's better score on Photoshop CS5 shows that the extra 2GB of memory will help the photo editor in a hurry.

HP Pavilion Elite h8-1010 with its second generation Intel Core i5-2390T processor and 8GB of RAM the h8-1010 delivered decent, but not spectacular, scores on our benchmark tests. Its PCMark 7 score of 2,400 trailed the Dell Inspiron i620-3708NBK by more than 300 points and lagged the HP Pavilion h8-1020 by nearly 500 points. The Asus Essentio CM6850-07 topped them all with a score of 3,038, thanks to its more powerful Core i7 CPU. The h8-1010 scored 3.01 on the CPU intensive CineBench R11.5 test, trailing all but the Core i3-powered Dell i620-228NBK, and needed 3 minutes 32 seconds and 1 minute 39 seconds to complete our Photoshop CS5 and Handbrake multimedia tests, respectively.

Asus Essentio CM6850-07 is a good basis for a high-performance desktop PC. It has the chops to do multimedia tasks quickly, as well as perform at medium levels on the game grid. The HP h8-1020 has similar performance on multimedia tests and is a better 3D performer, but it's weighed down by bloatware and a slightly higher price. The HP Pavilion p7-1067cb is a smidge more expensive than the CM6850-07 and is slightly slower on the benchmark tests, but it is a better value overall for the general user because of its bundled 25-inch widescreen monitor. Both systems have built-in Wi-Fi, which is hard to install for a novice, but a piece of cake for a technophile. Overall, the Asus Essentio CM6850-07 is a good model for the person who will be upgrading later, including gutting the system's graphics and power supply.

Gateway SX2800-07 comes with a powerful Intel Core 2 Quad 8300 2.5Ghz processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a 640GB hard drive. I usually state the price at the end of the review but I just have to you let you guys know now that you can get all this for just around $519 each. There are PCs out there (with twice the price) that doesn't even come with half of the specs of this Gateway desktop.
